[Vwdiesel] negative aspects of burning water

I think the way to get an adavntage with the diesel electric over tthe 
diesel or anything else for that matter  is not to try and store up vast 
amounts of electricity via huge batteries, but to use electric for starting 
off from a standstill at lights or from startout. Then, switch to diesel 
with momentum of vehicle rather than a starter motor. Utilise braking energy 
to top up a 'large' car battery. Something simple like the driveshafts from 
a Quantum syncro or the back of its gearbox.
Alternative storage maybe something like the highspeed gyros [flywheel??] 
that the Spanish trains use to store the braking energy could be used. Only 
use 'electrical power for change in speed [increases] otherwise a lean 
diesel [bio/veg]
