[Vwdiesel] More Dasher?

On the Quantum there is a cast counterweight on the pedal. Lasts forever 
...except there is a sponge insert/bush piece or rubbish that only lasts  
for ...oh bug**r...  18 to 20 yrs... ah deja vu :o)
What then happens is the weight goes over the clip. I'll check further. It's 
that hanging bat technique to reassemble :o(
