And I was at our local Bosch shop a couple weeks ago, and he had a VE 
pump I was looking at for reference to another deal I have cooking 
involving a peugeot and a crop sprayer...

Guess what the pump was.  107A
I mentioned that I bet you have it becuase nobody could get it to work 
right.  He said nothing, just looked sheepish.  Told him about the 
special timing specs that nobody bothers to look up for those pumps.
