[Vwdiesel] VW Dealer has lost his mind

I just visited a dealer to get a couple items for my rabbit and was  
told that to order anything or to even purchase a part I had to give  
them the VIN of the car that it was for.  Since the rabbit has been  
out of production for over twenty years he would not cross reference  
the part numbers.  So bottom line is the dealer will not sell me any  
parts.  Would anyone be willing to help me get a coupe of crank bolt  
and a couple throttle cable clamp?
