[Vwdiesel] the audi's last gasp

Alright folks,

Reckoning day is coming.  Our Audi 5000 diesel has been sitting the last few
months, as I tried to decide what to do with the poor low compression, burnt
valve diagnosis I got from the last mechanic.  I'm in Seattle, and was
looking for a replacement engine for the car.  I found one in Oregon, but
the owner flaked out and wouldn't deliver.
I've been looking at a 1984 Datsun diesel truck that the Dieselhead shop is
selling for $2850.  I'm giving one last thought to getting the engine
rebuilt, or trying to find a good engine replacement and having listmember
Rudy swap it for me (if he was still interested).

Anyone know of a place to look near Seattle for a 1980 NA 5000S diesel
engine?
I was also recommended to check out Jerry at the Connector Rod shop in White
Center as a shop to get it rebuilt.  Anyone heard of them?
