[Vwdiesel] '98 Jetta convesion stick/auto

Thanks!  Nice link, with it, I found a auto diesel tranny in Texas! (800
miles away) lol

Not sure why it was rebuilt, he said he bought it with a known bad turbo and
decided to rebuild the engine too, which is not that expensive, if you can
do all the labor yourself. Starts way better than my '04 jetta, I'm thinking
it might have a couple bad injectors in the '04 jetta because on a 'hot
start' (sat only a short time) it fires like it's running on two cylinders
and cranks for more than 4 seconds before it finally stumbles to life, but
acutally starts very well when it's cold.
The '98 jetta starts at the "flick of the switch" hot or cold.
