Dave Cook, thank you very much for letting us know about www.crazedlist.org . I had heard there was a way to search multiple areas on Craig's List.  For some reason, Craig's List doesn't want us to be able to do this. Why, I don't know. The "crazed list"  won't allow you to search on Internet Explorer & suggests you use Firefox. 

For the member in Des Moines, I would suggest he explore Craig's list for Mpls., MN, Omaha, Milwaukee, & Chicago. Also eBay. I think to sell a good TDI 5 speed & buy a good TDI automatic would be a lot easier than converting your own car from a 5 speed to an automatic, unless you want the challenge of doing it yourself.
