It doesn't really seem to help much and it can leave you with
slight weeping issues with this new fuel. :-P
If you put the filter on empty, it'll take at least 3 minutes of
total cranking time IF your pump in the injector pump is working
fine. If it was full it takes close to 2 minutes cranking time some
times. I crank for about 20 seconds, wait, and so on.
It'd be worth lpulling the line to the pump and sucking the filter
full or removing it and pouring it full (unless you have compressed
air and can put some pressure to the fuel tank.) It helps a LOT
also, if you pull the return line banjo bolt from the pump and fill
the pump through it, with diesel, then replace the bolt and
crank.
