[Vwdiesel] suspension rebuilds

For awhile, I had the same troubles with my Rabbit. I finally ordered every single bit of the front end that I could replace, and replaced it all. I also did a completely new suspension at the same time. The suspension was Bilstein Sport struts with H&R sport springs. I also did both tie rods, wheel bearings, all brakes, control arm bushings, ball joints, etc etc. Total cost was $950.

That may seem like a lot, but the car drives really smoothly now. Plus, you don't have to get a $600 suspension either. If you want to keep the A2 around for awhile, I would simply do all the replaceable parts. Your car will thank you.

Now, if I could only find a steering u-joint that didn't break the bank, I'd be all set!
