[Vwdiesel] Weird brakes

How is it that a collapsing hose would cause this? It doesn't make sense to
me. Somehow pressure is being built up in the system and the master cylinder
isn't letting it escape back to the reservoir. Sure when you're pressing on
the pedal it's not supposed to release any pressure, but isn't it open to
the reservoir when the pedal is at rest? When I've looked at one in the past
the holes to the reservoir were open when the pedal was all the way back.

You might be right, but I just can't see it. Could you please explain a bit
more how the hose could cause this? Thank you in advance!!
