I wonder how it would be with Ni-MH batteries.  If they ever come available
for a reasonable price.

One TON of batteries.  This means ultra-low-tech lead acid junk.  I am sure
riding to work evey day sitting on a couple of hundred pounds of sulphuric
acid is someone's idea of a good time - but not mine.

Given decent batteries, and a low-speed inner city environment, this KIND of
car might have a place, but it sure as hell isn't going to be on an
interstate mixing it up with the 18 wheelers.

Like so many...make that EVERY other one of these pipe dreams, they don't
have any money and don't seem to be constrained by making credible claims.
Even their "legislation" page is reaching quite a bit.
