[Vwdiesel] Quantum Questions

My 1986 Quantum went through a period of "red lighting" and mild
overheating.  I finally solved it by replacing the water pump and radiator
even though it appeared to have good circulation before making this repair.
Seems as though the radiator was the primary problem as it has deteriorated
after years of exposure to cheap antifreeze and just did not have the
cooling area that it did when it was new.  I now only use Pentosin coolant
in my dubs.
