[Vwdiesel] AC system

I want to get my AC system on my 1981 working again.  It failed after  
the previous owner did a backyard R134 conversion (and probably did  
not evacuate all of the R12).  I want to replace all of the hoses with  
new ones that are made for R134.  Can anyone point me to a good source  
for replacement hoses or custom AC hoses?
Is there anyone in the twin tiers region (New York and Pennsylvania)  
that can recommend a good AC repair shop in case I decide to pay a  
shop to do this job?
