[Vwdiesel] Main and Rod Bearings?

I've rebuilt a couple dozen VW Diesel Engines and Haven't run across one yet
that weren't within Std. Spec.  9 out of 10 will be within Spec for Std.
Bearings.

I'm going to rebuild my 1982 1600NA diesel engine which has, I guess, about
175K-200K on it.

I haven't torn it down yet to measure anything, but as a guesstimate, what
size main and rod bearing should I expect to need?

Mains: .25mm? Oversized?
Rods: .5mm? Oversized?

Any tips, ideas, or experiences would be appreciated.
