[Vwdiesel] Mid-south VWs

I was at the dealership yesterday when they announced the Chattanooga  
site.  They are planning on a totally new vehicle somewhere in size  
BETWEEN the Jetta and the Passat!  I don't understand exactly what  
that means since the current Jetta is about the size of a older B4  
Passat but that is the purpose of the plant.  Only vehicles they are  
really loosing money on in a big way right now are the  German built  
Passat and German built Golf GTIs and Wolfsburgs and Jetta Wagons and  
Wolfsburgs.  Virtually everything else is coming to us from Brazil or  
Mexico.  Jetta is the top seller for  VW in the US.  That is why the  
new TDI engines  are coming in the Jettas first.  Hayden
