Yes, that is most likely the same pump I have waiting
to install on my 1.9NA motor.  I have a 1.9NA pump, it
is tall, much bigger then 1.6na pump and a bit bigger
then 1.6TD pump, but no space ship or aneriod.

There is no big issue with running this pump on the TD
motor, you will just get a big less power but slightly
better fuel mileage, yes.

Why do you need new pistons, did this motor do a head
crash with then crank sproket spun or something?
