Too late now for me, but maybe this question will help someone else. Can you take the starter out without removing the right motor mount? That is what I did, & somehow, I sprained my back affecting my L hip & leg, which still hurts. I guess since I am almost 75, I will have to watch what I do more carefully. The way I did it was to jack up the engine, put some wood in the rear engine pan & frame cross member, then remove the starter. It appeared to me this was the easiest & maybe only way to do it. When my back gets better, I will put the rebuilt starter back in & keep my fingers crossed that the head gasket isn't blown - again.
