[Vwdiesel] Vwdiesel Digest, Vol 53, Issue 13

I guess fuel prices are going where some politicians want it to go.
There does seem to be a scarcity of petroleum products. But, not of
petroleum. Canada, our major supplier, has, I think, a couple of
centuries of known reserves, maybe more. Of course, us, the good old
USA has oil in alaska, offshore California and the Gulf of Mexico. An
immense amount waiting to be tapped. But as soon as an energy plan is
offered to utilize some of these resources, one party continuously
fights against it. In the meantime, it looks like Cuba, with the help
of some of her friends will start exploring in the gulf (slant
drilling, I've been told to tap into our discoveries) while we set
around talking about corn fuel., etc., etc..
