Now I just need to find a tach. from a gasser... 
  As far as the Bosch diesel pump rebuild, I think I will try to just replace the O-ring seal first, as that is exactly where my pump is leaking. By the sounds of the other posts, it is the most common culprit and a much less time consuming task than taking the whole part apart for a rebuild. Anyone test their luck recently? I noticed from the talk that besides being scrupulously clean one must be sure to keep the center timing plug bolt tight and with a spacer or a longer bolt so not to loose the cam plate parts etc...
