[Vwdiesel] Mercedes Benz E300 Diesel

Have a dealer in Livermore , CA, about 120 miles from home, who may be willing to swap his E300D for my 1956 Packard Patrician. Both cars are in comparable condition & according to Old Cars Value Guide  my Packard is worth about $1,000 more than the Benz. The E300 has about 158,000 miles & my Packard about 100,000 miles on it. Any particular issues to watch out for on this year M Benz? The car can be viewed at www.eMotorsFirst.com . Stock #1416. I know M Benz parts are more expensive than VW parts but do you know of any expensive repair time bombs that might be lurking in this car based on experience with similar cars?
