Loren, as a car collector, I fully realize the Packard will go up in value & the Mercedes will go down. I have several other cars including a 1955 Packard Clipper in original unrestored condition, 56,000 miles, that I have owned since 1970. I will not sell the Clipper for sentimental reasons but I don't need two Packards now that I am 75 & can't afford payments on a new car. I would like a new  or late model diesel to enjoy for my remaining driving years, & can't afford to drive the Packard much on $4 gas & 10 MPG. I did invest in a commercially made bio-diesel processor so have the potential of lower cost fuel, if I can find a source of free or low cost WVO. Regretfully, none of my kids, step kids or grand children are interested in old cars so I might as well reduce my collection.
