[Vwdiesel] Gas/Diesel Prices

I can sympathize with the desire to see commercial truckers subsidized, but it is right back to the same issue: if is too cheap, inefficient systems develop. I hate to tell you the frequency that I see the SAME product going each way on an Interstate. The price of consumer goods can and will increase, since if you take a careful look, it is the pre-occupation with buying endless piles of "stuff" (90% of which we do not need, and we do not make) that is one thing killing the economy. And, a lot of that is happening because hydrocarbons are far too cheap and we pay only a tiny part of the "life cycle costs" (i.e. no cost of mitigation, remediation or replacement).
