[Vwdiesel] tranny bearing replacement

  First and more common thing to try is replacing the throwout 
bearing and check the fluid level by draining and refilling with 2Q.  
The T/O bearing is in the tail so you might still be able to get at 
it in-car like in the earlier bodies.  Not sure.   The tool needed is 
the case puller, to separate the two halves.  The rest is standard 
bearing puller stuff often just carful prying and tapping.  They're 
really easy to work on.
