What's the difference between 1.5D gaskets and 1.6 Mechanical gaskets?

  Two possibilities of difference.  The oil return holes are larger on 
the 1.6 than the 1.5... ALL the 1.6's.  The head bolt holes are 
larger on the 1.6 (12mm) than the 1.5 (11mm) except for 1981 
which has the large return holes but still has the 11mm head 
bolts.
