Hi Brian, I'm not saying there is officially. However, the early 5 cylinder 
VW's were cable clutch. The springs were more powerful, and so needed a 
longer lever, but as it was still insufficient, they converted to 
hydraulic...
If everything else is great about the car, then I'm sure there is a 
solution, even if  tailormade...
