  If you pull the one(?) screw that holds the relay/fuse panel in 
the you can kinda get it out a little and pull the big, colored plugs 
at the bottom.  They're lettered so you can easily plug them all 
back where they go.  The the panel is fairly free to check the 
connectors on the back side.  Souds like you may have a bad 
solder joint internally.  Might just be that one of the wires has 
come off or is corroded.  If it's internal and you're handy with 
a soldering iron...  Otherwise I think I've see new ones close 
enough in price to what you pay for them at a lot of yards!  
Ouch! I just looked and I CAN get them but my cost is $125!  
Worth a soldering station and an evening!
