  I often hear people wanting to replace the shocks to raise the 
car but shocks aren't designed for that.  Sure ours have the springs 
and shocks as one unit more or less, but the shock is a damper 
not a spring.  If it's binding or such then it'll raise it or if, in the case 

of the rear, the spring perch is higher or adjustable...
  You'd probably have to do some sort of compensating to raise it 
with the stability control as it likely has sensors based on the factory 
ride height.  Raising that would require relocating/recalibrating the 
sensors.  You'd have to find someone that knows that system to 
see if it could be done.
