That's why I choked I found out my boss sold his '98 Jetta TDI for 
$1300.  He was very proud of how shrewd he was.  I recovered quickly and 
said, "Hey, that's great!"  He is the one who determines my salary, 
after all. 

I would have doubled his money on the spot.
