one thing that can assist with cooling is adding the proper amount of
water wetter to the coolant. I've used it for years in the atv's and in
my current KLR 650 motorcycle that I ride out in the deserts of Moab,
Utah every year where going slow is a given and high engine temps not
taken lightly. I use it in my jetta. One thing, don't believe the hype
of anything that says it can lower the engine temp. All the water
wetter or engine ice stuff is break the surface tension in the block
letting the coolant have a better thermal transfer. The stuff does work
very well.
