[Vwdiesel] sheared off driveshaft sprocket bolt

So your cranck shaft sproket shiered off?  Out.  You are going to have valve damage of some kind as well.  These AAZ motors had some issues with this.
 
You can get the new sproket and bolt here, (TDIPARTS.COM) but you have a lot of work ahead of you on this one.  That Stinks, very sorry to here.  How many miles were on the motor?

Had a bit of car trouble this morning.my driveshaft sprocket fell off.
I'll be searching the weeds later this afternoon for the sprocket..in the
meantime, it appears the bolt sheared off.  Any suggestions on how to get it
out?  (96 VW Golf)
