[Vwdiesel] I got the Rabbit all buttoned up, and...

Maybe someone else will contradict me, but when we travelled across the
country there were plenty of miles driven at 5k or above. (I remember our
maximum being something like 11,500 feet in mid Utah going up to a lookout.)
Going up the hills we had to shift down and didn't have the power to zoom up
at full speed, but on the flats I don't remember ever having too much
difficulty keeping up with traffic. That was before I managed to boost my
power and also with an absolutely full load of family and camping gear in a
little 1.6NA diesel Jetta.
So it sounds to me like you have quite a bit of power still missing somehow.
But it won't be anything like those new TDIs. They blow away my car!
