When you say vibration on the clutch pedal, do you mean that you can feel it
when you start to push it in? Isn't the clutch linked by a cable like on my
91 Jetta. For a cable to transmit vibration it would have to be bad, I would
think.

I had a bad casting on a VW spindle which caused me to go through a bearing
every 30k miles., until I caught on. This is different, but I have not
sashayed the car side to side. Tommorrow, if the snow is not too bad, I'll
do just that.
Wheel bearings are easy, and I actually have a couple on hand.
That doesn't explain the vibration on the clutch pedal. Kinda of a
irregular
vibe...not like a VW (or at least the one's I've owned).
