  Not likely to be the throw out bearing since they're small, run in oil, 
sit 
at the other end of the tranny and so forth.  I'd guess either your disk's 
rivets let go or the/some fingers on the pressure plate broke (or the bolts 

backed out and it's loose in there.)  As James said, tranny'll have to come 

out and do some clutch work.  Be sure to inspect the pushrod and its 
bushing and seal.  It could easily be bent.
