I just read this again, I made an error.
Finish buff with a water base finishing pad glaze like a fine rubbing
compound used to buff out a paint finish, I think I used 3M finishing pad
glaze, but any fine water base rubbing compound should do, but avoid
jeweller's rouge as it is an oil base and would most likely stain the poly,
which is porous as all get out to begin with.
