  My guess is you pinned the pump 180 off, of course that should still 
have the mark showing on the flywheel...  Since you have stuff loose, 
turn the flywheel until you see a machined, rectangular boss.  There are 
two of them about 30 degrees or less, apart.  The TDC 'o' mark is right 
between them (the short way of course).  It's possible someone stuck a 
gasser flywheel on there, it's rare but it happens.  In that case you have 
to pull #1 injector and use a rigid but flexible, small wire to find TDC 
then 
mark, pin and lock cam from there.
