[Vwdiesel] VW Rabbit steel rim hub cap clips

Help! 
I cannot seem to find any place (including the dealership and E-bay) that sells the hub cap clips used to secure the 6" chrome VW hub cap that goes in the hub area of the rims used on Rabbit cars and pick-ups from 1979-1982 (the dealership told me 1979-early 1982 were all the same (my pick-up is a 1981). One person on the list referred me to a place, but they did not have any clips available. Can anyone else help?
