[Vwdiesel] CD Bentley

No actually, I have used all three Brian. I had the old school CD for the 97
Passat, and updated because of difficulties with it, and now have the B4 and
B5 manuals from the ebahn dvd. That early B4 manual was really horrible to
use. Ebahn really isn't much better, just crashes less, and has a better
search engine. Still, rather than looking up "specifications-engine" in
alphabetical order that cross-references to page 247 as described in an
index page at the back of a book, you get a list of twenty pages to have a
look at that may or may not possibly have specifications on them. If I
wanted to google every damn thing, I'd just use the internet.
I have access to Mitchell on Demand, and it too is a searchable database,
but is waaaay better than the Bentley ebahn information jungle. Mitchell
seems to be built for greasy thumbed mechanics to use that work flat rate,
not someone that prefers to surf their manual with plenty of leisure time.
I do have to say that the last update to ebahn showed some improvements, but
much like operating systems, it grates me to pay for something that is only
half assed completed, and requires updates to become fully operational.
Mitchell's electrical diagrams are vastly superior as well.
