[Vwdiesel] Front strut tubes

Has anyone ever had the nut unscrew itself from the tube? I hit a buckle in
the road a couple of weeks ago and immediately heard a noise in the front
end on every little bump. It turns out the strut tube came apart. I can't
see any material in the nut threads that looks like it pulled the tube
threads out. I don't have it apart, yet. So, I haven't been able to put an
eye on the tube threads. The nut threads look OK.
