[Vwdiesel] Dasher rear hatch glass

Sorry, I don't have a spare glass for the rear hatch on the 1980 Dasher wagon parts car I have, it's glass is broken out too, but I do have a suggestion which I used on my German built Eriba Puck travel trailer when I wanted to install a rear window air conditioner in it. Go to a Home Depot or similar hardware store & buy a piece of clear Plexiglas & cut it to fit. I have not tried this on a car but I would make a cardboard template allowing for the additional size where the glass fits inside the rubber weather stripping. If you go this route, let us know the cost & results but I suspect the cost would be cheaper unless you can get the glass from a junk yard cheap.
