Most people just by-pass that entire thing. The welded posts holding mine to the body rotted off so I just took mine out.
There is a crude sensor in there that will blink if it gets a connection by the presance of water in the jug.
let us know.

Brian, check the Water Separator just ahead of the right rear Tire.

The yellow glow plug dash light comes on and operates normally as the glow
plug /start indicator, but after start it will blink at about 1 second
interval, sometimes fading slowly in and out.
After a few minutes of driving it stops blinking and stays off.
It's not a bad wire, it's too predictable.
What is it trying to tell me ?
Thanks
