I know on some forums people get all worked up if a question is asked that is covered pretty well in that particular forum's archives.
But it doesn't really bother me. My thoughts are that sometimes, someone figures out some new trick, finds a new brand/size that works well (maybe in a discussion on tires-a company makes a new size), or something gets brought up that I had forgotten but never would have searched for (like the recent discussion of how to remove rusty bolts and the heating/paraffin trick-I had heard it before but forgotten; now there is a box of wax in my garage).
Just my thoughts.
