Ah, but I really am on your side of the Great Pond, despite what my e-mail address may say.

The .co.uk on the end of my e-mail has never been true; overzealous fingers when I signed up are to blame for the initial assignment, I hit "U" twice and went from US to UK, didn't catch it, hit submit, and then simple inertia (aka laziness on my part) took over to maintain it. I probably ought to make up a signature to that effect...

So I'm twenty five /and/ American, what a combination. ;)
