Why is that? How is it that they are so different in the coolant passages
that a regular block heater wouldn't do the trick? I can't think of anything
offhand that would prevent it. But please don't think my tone is
argumentative - I don't pretend to be an expert on the TDI engine and I'm
really curious as to what could force the TDI to use a special heater.
