Hadn't even occurred to me that it wouldn't even have the plugs. I drove one
for 6 months, maybe a year, but the darn thing ran so well that I only
looked at the engine for fun and never noticed the plugs missing.

That said, I've yet to see a frost plug protect an engine and only had
problems with them failing at bad times. One rusted through while we were on
vacation. It was my Grandpa's 360 dodge motorhome engine and it was a plug
between the engine and tranny, under the bellhousing. Had to drop the tranny
there beside a lake and replace it. No fun at all!!
