[Vwdiesel] Back up light switch

Just curious. I was working on putting seals in the 5-speed that I bought awhile ago and was wondering what the extra pins on the 5 speed switch were for. The 4 speed had just two plugs so that is simple and I think I located what it will take to make 2 pin wiring harness work on the 5 pin.
