[Vwdiesel] Jet A

It isn't a steady diet of Jet A.  We were reweighing our Dash 8 aircraft and inspection wants all the fuel drained out of the tanks.  I usually added the Jet A to 1/2 tank of diesel and 1/2 pint of two stroke oil.  We have been told that the Nikiski refinery only makes one type of kerosene fuel.  If ERA buys it it is sent out as Jet A, if Joe's Jiffy Stop buys it it is sent out as Diesel.  Don't think this is completely true as I noticed a decrease in mileage and a change in the way the Jetta started.  Maybe only applies for fuel sent to Kodiak or the other bush villages and not to Los Anchorage.
