[Vwdiesel] Anyone try this? (To have a warm, toasty car)

While I agree that the temperature of the coolant in the radiator is
virtually irrelevant to the temperature of the engine up to the point that
the thermostat is fully open (almost never in colder weather), there are
some situations where cardboard covering the grill can help a front engined
car run warmer. When the temps are cold enough for the thermostat to stay
fully closed, cardboard will help the engine run warmer by reducing the cold
air that is flowing over the engine itself.
