[Vwdiesel] Has anyone heard any more about this 60mpg new TDI motor that was supposed to be in the states by now?

Jetta Blue TDI is was called
I have seen a few of the Tiguan sort of SUV looking cars on the road in the past 2 months, but they were not TDI for sure.
It said they were putting this TDI in them for Europe, not sure about North America
