[Vwdiesel] "W" alternator

[Terry Briggs]

The diesel get it's tach signal from the "w" terminal on the  
alternator, where as the gasser gets it's signal from the ignition  
coil. So a gas one won't work on a diesel and vice versa. At least I  
believe thats a true statement.
