Rolf:

Try Chris Hill, http://www.kraftwerke1.com/, in Braintree (near South Shore
Plaza). He's VW-trained, works on TDI's almost exclusively and knows them
inside-out. Small operation and Chris does most of the work himself.

I took my 2000 Golf TDI to him with 305k miles (all mine). Great to work
with. Give him a call.

hey gang
I'm going to have to hire someone to do the t-belt on my '01 Golf TDi
too much snow and too few tools for me to tackle right now
there's a local garage that's done a few things for me, and they know
VWs pretty well, and I've been pretty happy with their work in the past
but I looked at the procedure online, and there's a lot of stuff to do
and to check
and I don't know if I trust these guys to sweat the details as much as
you seem to need to
so - anyone know a particularly good TDi garage in MA or surrounding
territories?
or any way to make sure my local guys do a thorough job of it?
thanks,
Rolf in MA
